The vast majority of David Bowie's 1970-1971 performances were played with The Hype, who consisted of: David Bowie (vocals, guitar, electric piano), Mick Ronson (lead guitar), Tony Visconti (bass guitar) and John Cambridge (drums). Mick 'Woody' Woodmansey would eventually replace John Cambridge on drums on 30th March 1970.

20th-24th June Glastonbury Fayre: David was scheduled to play on Tuesday 22nd between 7.30pm and 8-30pm but there was an over-run by the preceding bands. David finally took to the stage at dawn. His set was 'Oh You Pretty Things', 'Kooks', 'Changes', 'Amsterdam', 'The Supermen', 'Memory Of A Free Festival' and 'Song For Bob Dylan'
